Ezoic’s New Ad AI Launching November 1 – Filling Gaps for Smarter Monetization

On October 23, 2025, I noticed a new notice on my Ezoic dashboard:
“New ad AI: An advanced AI for filling in gaps in ad setups will be enabled by default for your sites on November 1, 2025.”
When I clicked the link, I found a new toggle in the Ad Setup page labeled “AI Ad Optimization” with this description:
Allow AI to supplement my ad setup where gaps exist. (Examples include: very long pages, pages with different structures and layouts, etc.)
That caught my attention immediately.
- Ezoic already uses AI extensively for ad placement optimization—so what’s new here?
- Would this feature change how ads are placed or how integrations work?
- Could it affect performance?
These questions led me to reach out to Ezoic Support to learn more.

Contacting Ezoic Support
I sent my questions to Ezoic support, asking specifically:
- How this new AI differs from the existing one
- Whether it’s a new system or an enhancement
- If it applies to Cloud or JavaScript integrations
- When it will start and how much revenue impact to expect
One of the things I’ve always appreciated about Ezoic is their quick and thoughtful responses. This time was no exception — they replied within hours with clear, detailed explanations. Here’s what I found based on their response.
The New “Ad AI” – Detailed Overview
According to Ezoic Support, this new “Ad AI” introduces an additional intelligence layer that works alongside the existing optimization AI:
“This new feature is using AI to assess the current ad setup and to insert ads into locations where the AI decides there is space for an ad.”
Unlike the existing system, this AI doesn’t rely solely on predefined placeholders. It analyzes the entire page layout to find under-utilized areas — sections where ad density is lower or where no placeholders currently exist — and automatically fills those spaces.
Support also confirmed that:
- This is a completely new AI, not just an upgrade.
- It uses newer AI models capable of understanding complex, variable layouts.
- It will work with JavaScript integration.
- It will be enabled by default on November 1, 2025.
This makes it a “layout-aware” system designed to supplement, not replace, your current ad setup.

How the Existing Ezoic AI Works
The current Ezoic AI focuses on optimizing existing ad placements—the placeholders defined during setup.
It runs continuous experiments to determine:
- Which ad sizes and positions yield the highest EPMV
- How to dynamically adjust bid floors for maximum advertiser value
- How to maintain a balance between revenue and user experience
It’s a smart and adaptive system that learns from user behavior, improving both monetization and engagement metrics.
In my experience managing several content sites, Ezoic’s existing AI has increased earnings by approximately 60% to 300% compared to AdSense. That level of improvement shows how powerful Ezoic’s optimization already is.
Comparing the Two AI Systems
Here’s how the existing and new AI complement each other:
| Feature | Existing Ezoic AI | New "Ad AI" (Nov 2025) |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Optimize existing ad placements | Identify and fill unutilized ad spaces |
| Focus | Revenue yield & user experience | Layout analysis & coverage |
| Integration | Works with Cloud & JavaScript | Confirmed to work with JavaScript integration |
| Technology | Ongoing optimization models | Newer layout-aware AI models |
| Activation | Already active | Begins November 1, 2025 |
| Effect | Maximizes performance of known placements | Expands ad reach into new viable areas |
Together, these systems create a two-tier AI structure:
- The existing AI ensures each ad position performs optimally.
- The new AI ensures the page layout itself is fully leveraged for monetization.
Expected Impact on Earnings
When asked about the possible revenue impact, Ezoic Support explained:
“It depends on the site and the current setup. If the AI feels that your site would benefit from additional ad locations in specific spots, then you could definitely see an uptick in revenue. However, if your site is set up super well, there’s less variability.”
This means the potential gains depend on your site’s structure:
- High impact for long-form or dynamically structured pages.
- Smaller but steady gains for already well-optimized sites.
Considering that Ezoic’s original AI already boosted my sites’ earnings several-fold, even a modest uplift from this second AI could still translate into meaningful additional revenue.
What Publishers Should Do
You won’t need to make any configuration changes.
The new “Ad AI” will:
- Activate automatically on November 1, 2025, enabled by default.
- Be manageable via the AI Ad Optimization toggle under Ad Setup.
However, it’s a good idea to:
- Verify your toggle status before November 1.
- Record your October performance baseline (EPMV, page RPM, etc.).
- Monitor analytics in Ezoic’s Big Data Analytics after the rollout.
- Keep an eye on ad density and user experience metrics during the transition.
Key Insights and Takeaways
- Launch Date: November 1, 2025 – enabled by default
- Type: A new, standalone AI supplementing the current one
- Goal: Fill ad placement gaps using full-layout analysis
- Integration: Confirmed to work with JavaScript integration
- Potential: Additional earnings improvement depending on layout complexity
- Control: Optional toggle in Ad Setup
Final Thoughts
Ezoic’s introduction of a second “Ad AI” marks an important milestone in the evolution of automated monetization. The original AI mastered optimization within known boundaries; this new layer expands those boundaries entirely, finding revenue opportunities that manual setups often overlook.
For publishers, it’s another example of how automation continues to reduce friction — no code changes, no additional setup, just smarter page-level intelligence.
As someone who has seen significant gains since adopting Ezoic, I’m genuinely interested to see how this new AI performs once it launches on November 1. I’ll be watching the analytics closely and will share follow-up insights as data rolls in.
Update – November 13, 2025
Since the second Ad AI went live on November 1, I’ve been trying to evaluate whether it brings any noticeable revenue uplift. Unfortunately, a separate issue affecting header bidding in Bangladesh made this difficult to measure. Most of my website visitors are from Bangladesh. Right before the launch, my overall revenue dropped by about 50% due to the header bidding issue. Although the issue was later marked as resolved, earnings only recovered to roughly 75–80% of the previous normal, still noticeably lower than my usual baseline. A similar dip happened again around November 11–12. Ezoic support confirmed that the dip is due to the recurrence of the previous issue.
Due to these fluctuations, it remains unclear whether the new AI actually contributes any meaningful improvement. Even during the “normal” days after the fix, the total revenue remained below the earlier stable level, which makes me think something in the Bangladeshi bidding environment may still be different in the background, even if partially restored.
Key observations so far:
- Revenue dropped by ~50% during the header bidding issue.
- After the fix, earnings returned to ~75–80% of the previous baseline.
- Even on stable days, revenue hasn’t reached the earlier “pre-issue” averages.
- Because of this, it’s impossible for me to judge the impact of the new Ad AI.
If you’re using Ezoic and have seen any meaningful change (positive or negative) since November 1, feel free to share your experience in the comments — it would help all of us understand how the new AI is performing across different traffic regions.
